You Are So Worthy My Friend ~
We all can fight the battle of low self worth. Even when we think of the most confident souls in our life they also fight the battle. Some of us are on the battle field more often and some of us a little less. Either way we know the language and the language can be hidden deep within our cells, internal dialogue, and how we interact with the world.
Whether it was given to us by the external world (global, lineage, relationships, etc...) or not, the energy of low self worth will continue to grow internally if we don't acknowledge the conversation. Most of all an invitation to be gentle and compassionate on the Self. If you start to catch the 'self worth' gremlin most of the internal dialogue is delusional, NOT TRUE. However, me saying that, ‘ it is not true’, does not make it vanish. I wish I was that magical for everyone.
These mantras; You ARE Beautiful, You ARE Worthy, You ARE Strong, You ARE Powerful, You ARE Loved...I could go on and on. Many times we can tell ourselves the opposite.
I have been having this conversation with many clients in the Embodied Life sessions, yoga sessions, and also with friends. Self Worth also dances with shame and guilt and those mixed together can be toxic for the soul.
There are many invitations but for today here is one. Witness your internal dialogue when negative Self Worth talk rises up. Stop what you are doing and welcome (yes welcome) that sensation IN. What does it feel like in your body (bones, muscles, cells, etc...), how would you describe it, what does your breath do and how does it hold you in your life...this valuable precious life? Let yourself breathe with it for a while...is it attached to shame or guilt (maybe so and maybe not). I would assume it doesn't feel so good within your vessel? Move if you need to move, make sound if you need to make sound ... don’t let it hibernate within.
If it doesn't feel good in your body then your WISE amazing WORTHY Self is whispering gently to you! Listen....
You Are So Worthy My Friend.
